We bought a secondhand 12-amp dishwasher for our apartment (which doesn't have one at all currently, and we will have to modify the cabinetry to accommodate. There is no plug or junction box behind the cabinet we wish to install into). The dishwasher was hardwired into the previous owners' kitchen. Is it possible to simply buy one of these universal cords (https://a.co/d/jlgtqVV), hook it up to the dishwasher, then plug it in? Apologies for my display of ignorance.
