I have some lengths of 2" PVC pipe that I am using for routing ethernet cables (e.g. no water). When I have to push a new cable through, it tends to get stuck on the joints in the pipe.

Is there a good way for me to line the interior myself? It's only a few feet of pipe, and it would be most cost effective to replace it with something else vs. hiring a pipe relining company (if they'd even take the job!). But if there's a simple, effective way to line these pipes it would save me some hassle.

It would be easier and cheaper to just wrap tape around the ends of your wires to make them slide over the connections easier.

It is not the friction in the pipe, but the square ends of the joints acting like little walls.

Wrapping blue painters tape around the ends and forming a small ball will allow the wires to slide over the connection "walls" and around bends easier.

Applying a little silicone to the taped end helps too.

Lining the pipe for your issue is not practical, unless you are doing this often and on a large scale.
