I have some frozen pipes headed upstairs - I've narrowed it to a run above my laundry room which is uninsulated space where they ran the pipes (with insulation around) but exposed.
Questions:
- Should I move all the insulation that is under the pipes and put atop the pipe (even if it leaves a 4-5 inch gap from the drywall to the pipe?).
- Should I use unfaced insulation for this task?
- Any other suggestions?
Thanks!
