I unwisely stained our bathroom sink with beard dye 2 days ago. I had all surfaces protected during application, but must have not fully rinsed the colored splashback when washing the utensils in the sink. The stained water likely dried on the surface after I left it. Now there are gray stains all over the sink. Can the stains be removed without damaging the surface?
The sink literature says the top surface is cultured marble, also labeled polymarble.
I've tried wiping with 3% hydrogen peroxide, 99% rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover, white vinegar without any effect.
