The vinyl on one side of the house (the side facing the harshest sun) we bought two years ago is oxidized and faded and discolored. What are my options? Can this be washed and restored back to life? Can I do it myself? Any tips and cost-saving measures are GREATLY appreciated. Including products, tools for reaching high areas, etc.

Treat the siding like any plastic or vinyl part on your car.

Wash it thoroughly, ( using a car was soap would work well) .

When fully dry coat it with a UV protectant that puts moisture back into the vinyl Products like Armor all work well and can be found in formulas that do not give a high gloss.
