My fire inspector is making all houses have wired in smoke detectors for short term rentals (3a). We were using the hardwired wireless interconnect from Kidde. They have now stopped making them. I was looking at bridge alarms. Can I hardwire bridge smoke alarms for power but have them connected wirelessly so we don’t have to figure out how to run wire between 3 floors of concrete?

If you can get them, yes
The bridge alarms, as far as I know, fully support the wireless protocol they use, so they should be able to talk to each other (within manufacturer, of course) without difficulty. That said, there's very limited availability of the SA521 at the time of this post.
