Installed an Anderson 2000 series storm door in February. Recently, the piston closer has been operating inconsistently. Sometimes it’ll damp the door’s closure, other times it’ll be as if it wasn’t even there. Well, other than basically as a rod—there’s no damping effect. It’s not a big deal or big bucks to just replace it, of course. Just wondering what might be causing it.
