This is a cinder block garage extension built on a concrete slab. I've noticed that when the weather is very humid/damp that the blocks become wet in certain areas. Is this something to be concerned about and if so, any suggestions on how to improve the situation?

That's what concrete does in high humidity, partly due to its tendency to stay cool. Some days my garage slab looks like a soaked sponge, especially in the spring when snow is melting. It's only a problem if it's getting things wet inside.

Since the block is bare, it will draw in moisture. A sealer and a couple coats of paint can make a barrier so the block does not draw in so much moisture.

You need to move anything away from the wall and grade the soil away from the foundation as well. Keeping the leaves raked will help make the concrete drier.
