I recently took down a ceiling fan and replaced it with a ceiling fan that uses a remote receiver.
The wiring coming from the ceiling consisted of: 1 thick blue wire, 1 orange and 1 white wire and 1 white with yellow wire.
The new fan has 2 green wires, 1 black wire and 1 white wire. Can the black be connected with the blue and leave the orange?
