I'm not entirely sure how to handle the waterproofing in the seams on this slanted ceiling where Kerdi meets the drywall? Do I overlap the Kerdi band and then have to smooth out the thinset and paint over it? My contractor did the drywall, I'm finishing the shower with Kerdi, etc. What about the waterproofing of the drywall just below skylight above the seat?
