This water damage occurred many years ago with the previous owner of the house. The roof leak was repaired several years ago, and the skylight is brand new and watertight.
I've watched a lot of videos on replacing drywall but haven't done it before. I'm just looking for some basic sequence-of-events instructions for this particular situation, and perhaps some advice on how much and where the drywall needs replacing (i.e. the whole wall, or just the visibly damaged parts?), and any other advice you might have.
