I am looking to add a wet bar to my bathroom and was looking to tap into my CPVC lines to provide the water. Currently there are some 1/2" lines running near where I want to go that tap off of a 3/4" trunk. Some plumbers that I had in were saying that we couldn't use the 1/2" lines as there'd be too many tap offs from the line, which leads to my question - How many connections can you have off of 1/2 and 3/4" CPVC? I tried doing some googling, but the best I can find talks about what the max pressure for each size is, which doesn't mean much to me. FWIW, this would be residential, schedule 40 piping.
