I would be grateful if anyone could identify the plant in the images below.

Location: Cebu Island in the central region of the Philippines (USDA Hardiness Zone 14).

Description: Please see images below. The plant is currently 1m 40cm in height (approx. 55 inches).

Where I have looked

  1. Google images gives numerous suggestions but it's hard to be sure about any of them. It also gives different results when using different pictures of the same tree. In short, I am confused by the results.
  2. On this site, I searched using the tags [identification] + [tropical]. There were 29 results, none of which came close to this plant.
  3. Also on this site, I looked at all of the similar questions which came up when I typed in the question title. Again, none of the images in these questions bore any resemblance to my plant.

If anyone needs further images or details, please leave requests in a comment below and I will do my best to respond.

Not an expert by any means either, but using plantnet.org might give better results than google image search.

With the images you provided it matches Morinda citrifolia L. or Noni with 57,4 %, which is not great but all other matches are well below that. Maybe you can try and take some more pictures or have a closer look at the sample pictures and some details there.

@Jurp provided a link with additional information to be found on CABI digital library. Which I have reproduced here in case the comment gets deleted.

I'm by no means well-versed in tropical plants, but that plant strongly resembles a Ficus (Fig) of some kind. One easy test is to look at the sap - if it's a fig, it should be milky, either yellowish or white. The sheer number of possible species will make it difficult for anyone online to give you a definite ID, I think.
