Can somebody please help me. Transmission temperatures running normal then spiking for a second and then returning to normal doesn't happen often. I know they are false readings because I had my OBD2 scanner hooked up reading the temperature and watching the dash temperature as well. The OBD2 scanner temperature never spiked. My question is I have a 2009 4L60E it does not have the pressure manifold switched with the ability to read temperature. How does my transmission ready temperature and where is the sensor if it has one. And what could be causing this. I also have a after cooler installed so I know the temps are false. Like I said it does it every once in awhile it will Spike to around 230 for not even a second and then go back down to 160. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
