I am not a mechanic however... I owned a dodge caravan that was horrendous. Everything that can break on a vehicle... broke and when I was told a timing belt that costs 13 bucks would cost me $4200 due to labor, I decided to learn how to do it myself. I also have an understanding of most engines. What is needed to start and continue to run and what sysmptoms fall under what system.Meaning spark, fuel/air, compression. I Also learned how to diagnose and fix every front end suspension component, tranny issues, etc Therefore when it comes to diagnostics I have become pretty good. Again I am not a mechanic. Just someone that has done alot of work on many different auto systems and want to share my knowledge to see if it can help someone else!
