A compact vehicle produced by Honda offered in sedan, coupe, and hatchback versions. Originally introduced in 1972 as a subcompact model, each generation has typically seen size increases. Good fuel economy has been major selling point for the vehicle. This has remained a feature even as the size of the vehicle has increased. Currently Honda offers alternate fuel versions including a hybrid model and a natural gas that extend fuel savings.
