Bought a new saw blade, most expensive one I've seen and it still burns the wood and takes some pushing to get through.

Can I run a 15A table saw on a 15A circuit if there are also shop lights on the same circuit?
I apologize if this is a tired question, but none of the other similar questions I found are close enough to what I really need to know.
I am hoping to buy a DeWalt table saw for use in my garage. The only documentation I can find shows that the saw…

Cutting larger pieces on table saw
As the photo shows, I want to cut some larger pieces of plywood.
The right edge is not straight, but even if I get it straight, I will not be able to easily cut it using the rip fence.
And the miter gauge won't work because the piece is too wide.
I…

Why do some table saws have a direct and a reverse ruler on the fence?
For example, in the ruler, the bottom row goes from 0 to 31 cm from left to right and the upper row goes from 32 upwards from right to left?
EDIT: Here is the manual for the tablesaw pictured above. There is no mention of that scale, and it the…

Can I use an 8" dado blade set in a 10" table saw?
I have a 10" table saw... this is probably a stupid question, but can I use an 8" dado blade set in this saw? Is one only supposed to use 10" blades in a 10-inch saw? I read on some contractor's blog that one should only use saw blades that are…

Has anyone seen kickback occur on a wet table saw for tile?
Most people are familiar with how table saws can kickback when pushing wood through it. I'm talking about a wet table saw with the blade that is housed below the table and protrudes up (as opposed to a chop saw type orientation that other wet table…

I just got this 23 year old, small tablesaw from a friend of mine. I know it’s nothing great, but if it can be made to work, it will suit my needs.
It’s been stored indoors and seems to be in good shape generally. But, he said he hasn’t used it in…

Keep table saw blade from cutting into the sled
How do I prevent the blade from cutting into the "fence" of my table sled?
Wood rails engage slots in the table saw.
I see no way of raising the sled by much.
